Amira Hanafi lives and works in Cairo, Egypt. She is the author of Forgery (Green Lantern Press 2011) and Minced English (aHa books, 2010), and a number of artist’s books and other printed matter. She is currently at work on a Dictionary of the Revolution, a book project tracing the experience of the ongoing uprising in Egypt through changes in the local colloquial language.
